Directions to Historic Jamestowne Visitor Center (local directions): As you enter Jamestown from the Colonial Parkway, continue straight toward the Glasshouse of 1609 and Historic Jamestown Island (Do not bear right toward Jamestown Settlement). As you continue straight toward Historic Jamestowne, pass the Glass House of 1609 on your right. You will go over a small bridge in about 1/2 mile. After you cross the small bridge, you will be on Jamestown Island. Continue about another 1/2 mile and turn right into the parking lot of Historic Jamestowne Visitor Center. Park your car and meet me near the main entrance to the Historic Jamestowne Visitor Center.
Directions to Capitol Building in Williamsburg (local directions): Traveling east on Lafayette Street, turn right at the traffic light onto York Street to enter the historic area (Note: If you pass Patrick Henry Inn and Best Western on your left, you have gone too far). You will pass Waller Street on your right. At this point, York Street is called Frances Street. You will quickly see the capitol building on your right. It is a large brick building. Continue on Frances Street just a bit and you will see a brown woodframe building on the right with a sign that says "Shields Tavern". Turn left into the tavern parking lot just before this sign. Park your car, cross the street, and meet me in front of the capitol building on the Duke of Gloucester Street in the cul-de-sac. This is a pedestrian zone.
Directions to Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center (local directions): Take Colonial Parkway toward Yorktown. As you enter the Yorktown area, pass by the exit on your left for the American Revolution Museum. Continue straight on Colonial Parkway toward Yorktown Battlefield. When you reach the end of Colonial Parkway, there will be a stop sign. Go straight into the Yorktown Battlefield Parking Lot. Park your car and meet me near the main entrance to the Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center.
