Williamsburg Walking Tour: a Colonial City

Where do we meet?

We will meet on the Duke of Gloucester  Street in front of the capitol building in Williamsburg's Historic District.  The address is Duke of Gloucester Street, Williamsburg, VA 23185. It is recommended that you arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your tour time.

Is an admission ticket required?

An admission ticket is not required in addition to the cost of the walking tour.  If you would like to go inside the historic buildings, however, you may purchase a ticket before or during  the walking tour and I will be glad to incorporate site visitation into the walking tour.

What will we see on the tour?

We will see the colonial city of Williamsburg as it was laid out in the 18th century when it was the capital city from 1699 -1780.  There are 88 original buildings and over 350 that are reconstructions, most on original foundations.
